Our Values

A summary of the key points of the Christian faith we believe

1. We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible authoritative Word of God.
2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. In His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles. In His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal return in power and glory.
4. We believe in the universal sinfulness and guilt of all mankind since the Fall, rendering man subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.
5. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
6. We believe in the present ministry of The Holy Spirit, whose indwelling enables a Christian to live a godly life.
7. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, that they are saved unto the resurrection of Life, that they are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
8. We believe in the unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ who comprise the body of Christ.

we also have a set of core values we hold to and want to be known for. We may not always follow them perfectly but believe God is at work to make these attributes increasingly a hallmark of this church family

While we were sinners, God showed His love for us by giving up His Son Jesus Christ to live on earth and die a death that we deserved. All that we receive from God is unearned. If He can be so generous and patient to us, how can we not treat each other in a similarly gracious way. No matter who you are, where you’re from or what you’ve done in the past God is eager to meet with you – and so are we.

We love the Bible and believe it is the main way God speaks to us today. A rich source of wisdom and strength for all of life’s experiences; a major part of our Sunday service is given to teaching and preaching from it. Each member is also encouraged to cultivate a hunger for God’s Word in their own time throughout the week.

Charismatic worship

God is amazing and worthy of praise, so another major part of our Sunday meeting is given to reminding ourselves of who He is and what He has done for us through songs and prayer. During these times, we expect God the Holy Spirit to meet with us in fresh and powerful ways revealing more of the character of the Holy God we serve.

Diverse family

God loves diversity – and so do we. He has taught us to embrace difference, which is why Beulah Family Church is made up of people from many different walks of life. Regardless of race, gender, age, ability, personality or background, each person is a valued member of our loving church family.

We are all called to serve God, and serving others is a big way we can do that. Putting others needs before our own goes against the grain, but we believe each person has unique talents and abilities, and so has a unique role to play.

God is a good Father and His blessings to us will never run dry. As we have received we can’t help but be generous with our money, time, possessions and abilities knowing Christ sacrificed everything for us.

Beulah Family Church seeks to equip every member to go out in to the world and tell people how great Jesus Christ is. We want as many as possible to hear the good news of the Gospel, accept it for themselves, be saved and receive the abundant blessings of becoming a child of God.

God has changed us from what we were, but we are works in progress and He has not finished with us yet. Daily we are all personally being changed to be more like Jesus and we help each other in this through discipleship. As a church, we are keen to maximise all that we do and make the most of the gifts that God has given us. We believe that, as we do all this, our impact in the local community and the nations will grow.

God speaks! And in prayer we enjoy our greatest privilege: direct access to God. We believe, and have witnessed, lives transform, circumstances changed and the seemingly impossible made possible due to prayer. Prayer is the engine room of life, strength and joy. God is sovereign, and though He may not answer all our prayers as we would expect, His response is always for our good.
